I really enjoy making things ~ but I really haven't had much time to do that in the past couple years. I've been able to do a little bit of paper crafting....like ACEOs and scrap booking....but that's been about it. I'm excited about the chance to participate in a home craft show again this November. It's just the motivation I need to get busy in my craft room. I have a lot of ideas about what I'd like to make ~ some old and some new! These are pictures of some rag dolls I made for a show two years ago. The first four are wearing little girl's dresses that I altered to fit them. The second one never made it to the craft show ~ I liked her so much I kept her!!
This little gal ended up a good bit grubbier. I stained her and sanded her a bit ~ gave her a nice prim look. She was the first to sell!
I hope you'll come back and visit later ~ I hope to post some of my new creations towards the end of the month.
Oh, these are cute!! I can see why you kept the second one. Have fun with the next lot of creations.

ReplyDeleteI love the "grubby" dolly-she looks like she needs lots of love. These soft toys are so much nicer than some of the dolls made for little girls now-a-days. Some of them are downright scarey!
