Bailey

Update...I appreciate all your kind thoughts! It was very odd to come home to just one cat today. It's the first time in twenty years that we haven't had multiple cats in the house.

Today we had to have Bailey "put to sleep". He's been sick for several months. One of his nicknames is "Fat Bailey" ~ he weighed over 23 pounds last fall. But he's lost a lot of weight. He's a funny cat ~ kind of a sissy. His meow is a little "girly". It's always sounded odd coming out of that big, fat, fluffy body! Lately his meow has been kind of weak. He's been having trouble with stairs and the litter box. There's been some other issues too ~ and we decided it was time.
We'll miss him a bunch.
Here's a Bailey story for you!

  1. I'm sorry to read about your Mr. Bailey. We had to put our "Miss Jessica" to sleep a while back. It's never easy, but you always know when it's the best thing for them.
Hey, I just ordered one the potholder looms from 'Gooseberry Patch', because they're having a Spring sale. I hope it's still going.

  4. I am so sorry about the loss of Mr. Bailey. This has been a sad time for many of my friends as they say goodbye to beloved pets. I'm sure he felt loved to the end.

  7. Oh Marie, I'm sending you lots of hugs through cyberspace to you and your family. It is horrible losing a pet. How has the other cat been without him? You'll have lots of great memories of him to remember him by. Kisses, Kathryn.XX
