Mandy, Katie, Mark and four friends went to Michigan a couple weekends ago. They went to see a Red Wings hockey game and they visited my mother. They also ate...at Cracker Barrel, National Coney Island (hot dogs) and Sonic...twice! When I spoke with Mandy during their drive home she said, "I really had fun!" Mandy always "really has fun". Here she is during another visit to see my mom some sixteen years ago.
She's wearing an oversized nightgown and she's standing over the heat vent in the kitchen floor of my Mom's old mobile home. When the heat (and fan) came on it inflated her!I love this picture!
The picture of Mandy reminds of winter mornings when I was growing up. My sisters & I would stand over the floor furnance grate in our flannel gowns, so warm & toasty. Thanks for stirring up a pleasant memory from my childhood!
