We (Katie and I) have been talking about having a yard sale for months. She and Mark have listed their townhouse and need to empty out the basement. Katie just called me - she has checked her schedule and the weather for the month of August and guess what? The only date that works is 8/7/2010!
So (surprise!!) the yard sale is this Saturday!
I have collected all that I'm going to of my stuff (there's just no time) and Katie already has a bunch of her things at my house (yes it will be at my house). She'll be gathering many more items and bringing them over between now and Saturday morning. I will be pricing the items already here.
This promises to be a LARGE yard sale. Mark & Katie have collected a lot of stuff that they want to part ways with (including a lot of scrapbooking supplies), Charlotte has outgrown a lot of clothes and toys, I'm trying to de-clutter my life, etc. Looks like I'll be spending the next three evenings pricing for our yard sale extravaganza! Guess I won't be working on my other project ~ but that's okay ~ family first! Plus while I'm pricing Katie's goods I'll be contemplating ways she can help me out later on.
I wonder if Charlotte will have as much fun at this year's sale as she did at the one we had last year!
