Feeling Almost Human Again....

The past several days have not been very pleasant ones. I dislike head colds so much! There's not a whole lot you can do about them ~ besides waiting for them to just go away! I slept until about 9:00am this morning. Bill was working today, Mandy was out and my father-in-law was taking a nap. I got some cleaning done and then long about 2:30pm I decided to lay down for a bit.

~I took my medicine of choice~

~Grabbed a handful of throat drops~

~Made sure the tissue was near~

~Put a hot mug of tea on the nightstand~

~Got under a cozy quilt~

~Tuned the TV into one of my favorite stations~

And settled in ~ to watch a movie ~ or so I thought! Instead I fell asleep and slept until 7:00pm! Guess my body needed a bit of nap!! I had a little chicken soup and now I'm back in bed watching Hallmark movies and playing in the "land of blog".

I love Hallmark movies....they're a little cheesy, fairly mindless and just plain nice to watch.
Anyone else out there watch Hallmark movies?

Hopefully my afternoon snooze won't keep me up all night!

Oh, you poor poor thing. Sounds like your body did need a big rest. I do like Hallmark movies too - yes they are cheesy but generally just "nice" to watch.

Oh I'm so sorry that you've been sick. I'm sick too ~ the 3rd time in 8 weeks! Think I'm going to use your plan tomorrow!

Smiles,
Lea

I do hope you'll be feeling better soon! I love the Hallmark Channel too. I watched both movies that were featured last night. I can't decide which one was my favorite. Have a restful day!

Carol

Marie, keep those Puffs Plus right next to you! Nothing's worse than a chapped nose! ;-)

Thanks for posting about my give-away!

Oh, I agree about the Hallmark Channel! My hubby and I don't watch ANY of the major networks' programs. We like PBS, HGTV (in moderation - don't like the "gotta have it all" shows), The Weather Channel and Hallmark. I figure...true life has enough problems without watching violence and programs that cause anxiety.

Hope you're feeling better!
Diane
