Random Monday Memories

I bet everyone reading this remembers The Beatles! But, I want to know if you remember The Monkees...
The Monkees TV Show premiered in September 1966 and ran until 1968.
The pop singing quartet included (left to right) Davy Jones, Peter Tork, Mike Nesmith & Micky Dolenz. I loved this show! How about you?
PS. I had a crush on Micky!

"Here we come, walkin'
Down the street.
We get the funniest looks from
Ev'ry one we meet.
Hey, hey, we're the Monkees
And people say we monkey around.
But we're too busy singing
To put anybody down."

I used to watch that when it was on VH1. It was a crazy show.

I loved the Monkees! They were zany-I loved their humor...kind of slapstick. Oh Marie, you always make me smile when you bring me face to face with these old memories!!!

Yup, I remember them too! My cousins and I used to to the Monkees walk - arms around each other, feet swinging in wide arcs with each step ... what fun!
