Opinions please!

I got a few more things made Thursday night and I'd like to give you a peek and ask your opinion. By the way ~ I found the wonderful images that I used on a blog called
Jamie offers free images each Tuesday.

Well I'm calling this little creations "Instant Ancestors"....and I have nine more to make. They'll be packaged in a cellophane bag with a label. I put the quarter in the picture to give an idea of the size. They're complete ~ I think! But maybe they need a little something? Maybe a bit of lace or a couple buttons or a some pretty ribbon ~ maybe even a little sparkly glitter.
What do you think?
(I must say ~ these look way better in person!)

This one is my favorite ~ I love the paper!

First of all, your mittens, covered boxes and little pillows are great! You have been working hard Marie and the quality of your work shines through....even in a phtotgraph. I love the instant ancestors. They are charming plain but I think if you added a bit of lace or a few buttons, it would add some dimension. I have gotten 20 journals done and 180 cards so far. My first show is next weekend. Yikes! I've been reading blogs but not writing. I'll post something soon so people don't think I expred from the flu!

Oh Marie!!!! These are so gorgeous to me ~ simply gorgeous....another alternate way to hang them would be to punch holes in the two top corners and feed ribbon or seam binding through from back to front...tie a knot in each corner, maybe tie a snippet a old, thin lace into the knots...or add a button to the knot...Omygoodness, I'm so sorry, I got carried away! They really look beautiful as they are Marie!!! hugs and love, Dawn

Marie, I think Dawn has a great idea. If you have a small hand drill it would be a cinch to make the holes then just add your additions onto the ribbon, that way you don't alter each piece individually.

I, too, think they are adorable just the way they are...
...maybe some ribbon or tiny buttons, but I wouldn't want to take the focal point off of the photo...

Happy Halloween...Stay safe and warm ~Natalie

Hi Marie. I love the lush jewel tone colors you chose for these backgrounds...and the photos are fabulous. I think I may have to pay that blog a visit.
