Song Bird Tag Swap

Last month I participated in a tag swap - the theme was Birds.  I received some wonderful tags ~ I love to see all the different variations on the theme.  The swap was hosted by Karla Nathan. All participants mailed seven tags to her and she returned seven different tags...plus a cover tag that she made ...to each of us.  

She bundled up our tag books in an old book page and tied it up with lace.

First up is the cover tag from Karla....so pretty. I love the bird's nest charm attached to the tag. The bird cage charm to the left of the tag is attached to one of Karla's beautiful business cards.  I bought the tag in her Etsy shop.

Here's the seven tags I received...in no particular order.  They're all so creative and so beautiful!  There's stitching, charms, ribbon and beautiful images. Buttons, bows, fabric and even a sweet little wire nest.  It was a great swap! I included links if they were given to me.

Up above is a peek at the backs of the tags and down below a peek at the tag I made for the swap (times seven of course!)  I wish I would have made one for myself to include in my tag book. Of course, I guess I still can.  Anyone wondering what I'm going to do with this book of tags?  It's going into a bowl on my desk so I can look at it anytime I want to.
