I'm On A Roll!

Remember these tin signs I mentioned a couple days ago?  I bought six of them (on clearance) at Michaels for 59 cents each!!  I pulled the canvas letters off and then transformed them!

Four of them were completed Wednesday morning.  I'm pretty pleased with them....I might play around with the Robin themed one a bit more.  But otherwise they're done!

I finished two more Wednesday evening.  Now I want to head back to Michaels to see if they have any of these tins left.  I was thinking about doing several with a Christmas theme.  These were fun...I enjoyed making them.

A few close-ups.......

I also worked on these little bags.  I forgot "before" photos.  Just envision them "naked" - without any lace or doo-dads!  The little "naked" bags are from Hobby Lobby....they were $1.99 each.   When I go to craft shows, flea markets, thrift stores or yard sales I don't like to drag along my big handbag.  I just want something that will hold a little bit of cash, my ID, a credit card, and my phone.  These are the perfect size.  I'm going to make a few more that are a little less lacy...I'm thinking a patchworky, collage kind of look.

Last night I worked on some bird word-houses, some acorns, a clipboard, and a bowl.  I'll share photos soon.
I'm on a roll....and it feels good!  So glad I had several days off to get that creative spark ignited!
