It's A Start

Michaels has had a lot of clearance sales lately...and even though I only stopped there to buy some glue sticks, I couldn't help myself.  I had to take a peek!
I'm glad I did because everything was 70 - 90% off!  My purchases included two sets of these "pearl" handled little signs and a couple tin (Dream & Inspire) signs.  Total cost = $4.56,

This is how they look now.  I printed some words on fabric and then decorated with that fabric, some lace, buttons, and other bits of this and that.  Six things done for the craft show!
There's a letter"M" showing in the above photo. It's one of six tin signs I bought for 59 cents each!!  I'm working on those now.
I love a good clearance sale!

Today is day 4 of my five days off.  Saturday I had a bunch of errands to do.  Sunday was church and a bit of cleaning.  Yesterday was family day.  Today was just me and my craft room.  So far...so good!  One more day off.  Hopefully I'll get a lot more crafting done.

Wonderful transformations! Happy that you've had time to craft and time off from work!

You've made a good start. I have 2 art boards done but I'm excited to "get into it" now. I think the first item is the hardest and then the enthusiasm starts to build. Keep up the good work Marie!!

I love what you did with those. Very very cute. Sounds like you've done well with your time off. Too bad it always goes by so fast
