Window Shopping

Seems like the weeks leading up to Christmas have been so much busier this year.  Might be because Thanksgiving was later, might be that my sweet grandbabies fill up much of my time, might simply be that I'm older and I move slower, so stuff takes longer!!  But it's probably because I'm trying to squeeze in as many fun activities as I possibly can!  Spending time with family and friends is the very best part of Christmas!

Bill and Mandy joined me for a recent 'Midnight Madness' sale in Ellicott City, MD.  It was rainy and chilly and really crowded!  We only ended up going into two stores....but we enjoyed peeking in the windows along the way.

An antique store window filled with lots of vintage Christmas.

This is a jewelry store window...love this simple display.

Warm & cozy...red & green...what's not to love about this window!

This photo does not do this display justice...it's amazing!!!

Santa Yoda.

Bill and Mandy...smiling despite the weather.

I also visited Hampden, MD.  Patricia, Joann and I headed to see the sites
(including 34th Street to see the lights...more about that in a future post).
There are a lot of fun window displays in Hampden!

A horse's head and really large lips...this was a very unique shop!

Festive gingerbread folk.

Can't remember what this store was...
but the window was fun.

The deer reminded me of Hank.

The prettiest window display in Hampden!

Peace on Earth!

A book tree...LOVED this!
Wish the photo was better.

One of the very best displays...Patricia and Joann.

No rain on this trip....just temperatures in the twenties!!
Brrrrr!
