Snow

It was a snowy day today!
BIG! FAT! FLUFFY! FLAKES!
It's the best kind of snow.  I love how it coats the branches of trees,
and I really love how it looks on the berry bush in my back yard.

I decided that I needed some up close photos of this pretty bush, so into the yard I went.  The snow was coming down fast, and was a couple of inches deep.  I tiptoed through the yard (really need to buy some boots) with my umbrella (had to keep the camera dry), and got some nice photos.  Love the red, green, and white together!

The snow was so soft and fluffy!

Even the naked branches that used to be covered in bright berries
look beautiful covered in fluffy snow!

Lots of little birds (a Sparrow, I think) hung out by this bush.
They love the red berries as much as I do!

Besides being fat and fluffy...the snow was perfect packing for snowballs.
I know because I packed several of them!
See!

Hope you get to play in the snow a little too!!

The snow does look pretty on that bush. Your snow looks much prettier than mine and I'm thinking that if I could stay home and watch it through my window I might like it a little bit better :)
