Journals

I made some journals while I was recovering from my knee surgery. 

They're fun to make and I think they're great little gifts!

Sometimes I spend ridiculous amounts of time deciding what bit of embellishment goes where.  I like them to be "just so"!  Generally speaking, I'm happy with the way these turned out.  I have eight smaller journals waiting to be embellished too ~ they'll be perfect to tuck into a purse or pocket!

The journal below is my favorite one.  I think it must be the colors and the simplicity of it.  The black scallops are a nice touch and I love using cheesecloth...that's an idea that was inspired by looking at beautiful creations throughout the land of Blog.  Inspiration is a wonderful thing!!
