A Beginning...at least

Remember this post? Well I actually managed to get a few things done last weekend. I have so many supplies piled up in my work room. My goal for creating inventory for the two craft shows I'm participating in is to use only supplies that I already have as much as possible. I may need to buy a gluestick or two ~ but otherwise I have tons to choose from. I am a little concerned that some of the things I have may be a a bit outdated but I'll see what happens. I worked with this lovely purple frame and the plastic candy canes and wooden frames.

This is what I ended up with. I like the way the purple frame & the stitcheries turned out. I'm still playing with the homespun covered candy canes.

I am so far away from being prepared for two craft shows ~ but at least I've seen a beginning....

Good Morning, Marie!

How nice to see some of your finished creations ~ all so lovely. And you know how much I love the FAITH embroidery! Mine sits on a shelf at the top of the stairs and I see it every time I go up the steps. It means a lot to me.

Nice visiting with you! ldh

Its a start... Now you just need to go full steam ahead! :) I love how the frame turned out. I need to get busy and try to make a few things. I have been so lazy around here. If its not related to school... I don't do it. lol

Take Care,
Debbie

Marie, Are you making multiples of everything? If so then you have a good start here, I think the initial creating is the hardest part. Once I figure out what I'm making the process seems to go a whole lot faster. I hope that's the case for you too. I just love the candy canes, hard to believe what they started out as.

...so I had a package arrive at my door late yesterday & guess what I'll be blogging about today...thank you it is all wonderful.

I love seeing the things you create. You always put so many little details on everything, it's really cool.

Just remember the story about the little engine that could...he worked and worked for a very rewarding outcome. You are on your way down the tracks. Every good engineer knows he needs to stop, take a brief rest, load up and chug down the tracks again. Final destination...Craft Town!
