I found some more Pinspiration this past weekend! I love the little twig legs and the black face on the sheep to the left, and wooly coat and little top knot drew me to the sheep on the right. Plus it's body reminded me of something I had just bought at the thrift store....these wooden drapery rings!
So I started creating my own version of my inspiration sheep. I was pretty happy with how they were turning out, except for one thing. Those "empty bellies" bothered me!
So I made a page of "sheep, lambs and baas". I printed it, cut out circles, and glued them to the back of the sheep. Perfect touch! If I do say so myself!! You can see the "sheep, lambs and baas" in the following photos. I love my flock of sheep...the drapery rings have little "eyelets" on them, so they'll make great ornaments. So the creating continues.......

So cute! The writing in their middles finishes them off perfectly.
Coming from the Buttermilk Creek Farm Blog to yours....
I´m so happy to found this blogpost. Yesterday I cleaned my studio and I came accross a couple of these wooden rings. Wondering what to do with them, I decided to keep them in a box with random wooden stuff.
And now I found a way what to do with them. These ones turned out fabulous. I will keep in my mind.
Hugs from Holland, Thea x
