If the weather cooperates we'll be heading off to a pumpkin patch and apple orchard tomorrow and since we pass right by it we'll also be stopping at Cracker Barrel for an early dinner. However if the weather is as predicted ~ rainy & chilly ~ we'll be passing right by the pumpkin patch and heading straight for Cracker Barrel I think!!
Another part of my weekend plans involves taking these recent Dollar Tree purchases and transforming them into inventory for the two craft shows I'm in next month. Hopefully I'll be sharing some completed projects before the weekend ends.

When my boys were little it was a tradition for Grandma and Grandpa to take off on Columbus day and take the boys off to get pumpkins and McDonalds. They always looked forward to it. I wish our little man was closer so I could carry on the tradition with him.
Have fun!

I'm not ready for a Christmas-y craft show yet! But Cracker Barrel sounds great!
Hi Marie, I just had a comment all ready for you when my computer shut down on me. Arrrgh!
Anyhoo... I can't WAIT to see what becomes of your candy canes! I have a bunch in my to-do pile just waiting for inspiration!
And have your bibs arrived? I hope they've made it there all safe and sound!
Have a great weekend and I hope the weather is good!!
Marie, I'm wishing for you warm weather so you get to pick your pumpkins and apples.
I hope you post what you make with your $ store goodies, I'd love to see it.

Wow-this is the first time all day I was able to access your blog. Maybe Blogger has the flu, too. Your weekend sounds like fun, I hope the weather cooperates for you. Good luck with your craft show projects....looks like some fun supplies! I will have to try the chicken recipe-it sure sounds easy! Have a fun weekend Marie and keep warm!
Looking forward to hearing about your weekend and seeing what you create with those cool supplies!
I looking forward to Pumkin Patch...or Cracker Barrel pics too! Happy Saturday ~Natalie
I can't wait to see what you make. I hope you got to go to the pumpkin patch today. It poured rain and we had a lightening storm here, maybe tomorrow.
Hugs,
Kathy
