Inspiration

This room inspires me!

This room does not inspire me!
This room stresses me out ~ which is unfortunate because it's my craft room.

Please don't be scared away ~ I can explain!
In a future post.

Hi Marie, Unfortunately I have to say that my studio looks like a mess too. I don't have enough storage and so a lot of things just pile up somewhere in the room. I'm looking forward to seeing what you are up to with your place!
Hugs,
Julia

That first picture is exactly what I have been wanting to do in my craft room. I'm bookmarking this though to show my husband the picture of your craft room the next time he complains about what a mess mine is. I'll show him that it's not just me....lol

Be afraid. Be very very afraid. lol Actually my place looks just like that in my house, my garage and my shed. I've got so much stuff, in totes out of totes, unorganized and scattered. Not enough cosets, shelves or storage space...or could it be I've got to much space? or to much stuff? Hope it helps you feel better to know you're not alone. Have a great day.

Ha, I love it! Today seems to be the day that several people are showing their craft rooms. I call mine the Happy Room, no matter if it's a mess or half way humble...take a peek at it today, after I cleaned it up this last weekend. I found the desk, my husband made me, under a pile of gnomes!

Now do you thing that room always looks like that? lol I am still needing to go put my room together. I may do that today if it gets as warm as the weatherman says. High of 65 today and 70 tomorrow! Woo Hoo!!

I do like the saying she has on the wall...

*hugs*

Wow...thanks for posting the pic of your craft room...because that's what mine looks like too...and I'm glad to know that I am not alone.

I am planning to get in there today to sort and organize. I have an inspiration photo on my blog too... maybe you have seen it.

Anyway, perhaps I'll take before and after photos.

Have a thoughtful Thursday ~Natalie

Oh Marie, I love you so!!!!! Did you see ML's room yesterday? I'm loving the honesty in these posts and the validation that we're not alone! Creativity is messy, fun but messy. I only know of one very neat crafter and while I envy that just a bit, I'm happy doing what I'm doing in the mess I call Happiness!
BTW...I went to Michelle, Etsy shop and snatched up the bird's nest...now I'm waiting to see if she offers another fat bird, too. Thank you my enabling friend-LOL!

I love looking at staged photos, where everything is in place and it looks so neat and tidy. However, it probably looked like yours in about a week and stuff is probably sitting around now because the person has gone shopping and has to figure out where to put it all.

Aww Marie.....I'll never forget your comment on my blog last fall that you had resorted to working on your lap because there was nowhere else to go. I'm thinking you haven't had a moment since your craft shows but that spring fever has caught you and you're getting motivated!

The shelves in the inspiration room look like the ones sold at IKEA, perhaps a trip to Philadelphia is in your future?

It looks like my "craft room". My only solace is the saying "Creative minds are rarely tidy". I'll be doing a before and after post of my room soon.

Hi,
That's my wifes craftroom. We built it last year because before the craft room her "rubbish" was all over the kitchen! I'm amazed that her little room pops up all over the internet, especially as her craftroom started life as a horrible little lean too on the back of the house. She loves her room and I promise you it looks like the photos all the time (mainly because she made me spend a fortune on storage solutions). I'm hoping she will tire of scrapbooking soon so I can change the room into a games/music room for me and the kids!
