Annie's Friend

That's Me ~ I'm Annie's friend.
Look it says so right there on that magazine page in the picture below!

So are you wondering who Annie is?
She is the dearest, sweetest, most compassionate little girl in all of blog land.
Her mother is Libbie (The Middlest Sister). You should visit her blog ~ in addition to Annie you'll get to meet her little brothers. You're gonna want to meet Bo & Rocco! Talk about a fun family.

Anyway ~ In January Libbie shared a story about Annie's reaction when she heard about all that had happened in Haiti. Annie's immediate response was,
"Mom we have to go there no matter how far away it is & help."
Now going there wasn't a possibility but that didn't stop Annie! She wanted to help and help she did. She made and sold bracelets to earn money to send to Haiti. Did I mention that she's in kindergarten?
You can read the whole story here.

About that photo up above ~ that's page 199 in the current (June) issue of Good Housekeeping. It's about Annie. She signed a copy of it and sent it to me.
Because I'm her friend.
Lucky me!

P.S. Yes, those are some of the bracelets she made too!

Precious little Annie with a giant heart and compassion for others! Thanks so much for bringing to our attention this sweet child!

And speaking of sweet thoughtful friends with big hearts... I was so moved to receive the surprise and greeting from you in the mail! Yes, I really love the beautiful vintage postcard and the words in the card, but it was so heartwarming that you should think of me and show it in such a sweet way. You, my friend, have the gift of encouragement!

Thank you MUCH!

Such an awesome little girl! Her family must be so proud of her compassion and eagerness to help others at her young age. It gives me goosebumps just reading about Annie. Thank you so much Marie for sharing this special story-one that we ALL can be inspired by.
Bless you~
