Porcelain from Patricia and Matchbox #2

My dear friend Patricia is a wonderful artist.  She's one of those women who decides she wants to do something and then she just does it.  Her latest love is porcelain painting.  Here's a photo of the beautiful Christmas ornaments that she was selling at the craft shows we did.

This is the little dish she made for me for my birthday this year.  It's the perfect size ~ about 4 inches long ~ and the little bird and flowers are so pretty!  It's one of my favorite treasures!

This little guy is one of her newest creations ~ a free form of porcelain that just so happens to look like a snowman!  He's the cutest thing and he belongs to yours truly.
These necklaces were a popular item at our most recent show.  She made snowman necklaces, pins and earrings.  Too cute ~ and guess what?!
She just re-opened her Etsy shop!!

Here's one of the necklaces she has in her shop ~ the shop is called Painted Prose by Patricia.  Please visit if you get a chance....it's a shop full of frosty fun!

Matchbox #2

Here's matchbox #2 and it came from Lyneen at I am Dreaming of Castles. A cute little Mr & Mrs Claus decorate the front of the matchbox and tucked inside were two doves and an old key.  I found the perfect little nest to put the doves in.  I love the attention to detail inside the box ~ the silvery tinsel is the perfect touch!  Thank you Lyneen!!

loving these tiny matchbox pretties. I am so lacking in this area of paper crafting but I love the results! I so enjoy visiting and seeing the wonderful creations people like you (and Ann of Duke fame) make! So fun!

What a great matchbox. So pretty. Love the stuff your friend made, that little plate is awesome. I've always wished that I could paint like that.

Marie, I always smile when I see YOUR smiling thumbnail photo when I am visiting blogs. It is the most welcoming smile I have ever seen! I had to follow it this evening to tell you this and to say hello. This matchbox swap is so fun to follow! Thank you for sharing yours! Elizabeth
