Last Saturday we (Mark, Mandy and I) cleaned out gutters and raked leaves. I couldn't resist taking some photos of this little patch of moss in the back yard. It's growing in a little crack in one of the landscaping timbers that edge the brick walkway. The grass and the moss are still so pretty and so bright green. But a cold front is coming...I don't suppose this little patch will last much longer.

Here too, Marie, this evening it is raining very much and we are going to have an orchanic storm- it has already raised in the sound of the wind---

I love the look of moss. We are expecting snow starting tomorrow morning. Looks like we'll both be bundling up :)
Oh - What a shame for the moss! It's probably gone now - but it will be back in the spring! Love moss...
