Cubbies

It's been over a month since I posted a peek at my Cubbies ~ I think it's time for another one!  There's a glimpse of a glass bird that I found at the thrift store and a pretty porcelain bell made by my friend Patricia. There's also a ball of twine, a cherished heart and, yes, that is a Christmas pickle in a jar!
But want I want to focus on are the chains hanging on the hook.  I love to look at clearance jewelry and thrift store jewelry...I love to buy it too.  I found these chains at JC Penney for about $3.00.  Not each...all of them.  The photo doesn't show the length...but there's about 35 feet of chain hanging there...plus the fluffy tulle flower came with it. Of course I had to buy them!

"Someday" I'm going to re-purpose these into some fun necklaces a la Me.  I have so many "someday" projects...now that the hustle bustle of Christmas is past I hope to get to some of them. But first.....

How about you....any "someday" projects lurking aorund your house?

Marie, I love to buy things for "someday" projects also, and to save things for the same purpose- when they will be used is another story :) for now a whole new year of production for my shop waits on me.
Hugs and happy week-end, to you dear.

Marie, Buying up clearance jewelry is such a smart idea, someday it will be there when you need it!

I have a pair of brass lampshades, bought them at a thrift store for $3.00 each. I've held onto them for years, now with the move they are on the floor of my office calling my name. Ideas are flowing but that ah-ha moment hasn't happened yet.

Jewelry is always fun to look through, especially when it is inexpensive.

I don't usually buy things unless I need them right then and there. (gadgets are different, hah) However one time I found these wood trays on sale at a craft store, so I ended up buying 3 of them. They have been sitting around for years, but I've never had any need to decorate them or use them, so there they sit. Maybe this will be the year they will get used.
