Painting

I have a lot of paint projects to do.  Just never seems to be enough time.  Or the temperature is too hot. Or there's a bunch of little people running around my yard...not that I mind that at all!

I have a couple rooms that I've just about finished re-decorating. Except for a couple paint projects.  The guest room still needs a little chifferobe painted.  My bedroom is waiting for a nightstand.  The family room lacks freshly painted tables.  Bill's done his part - the walls are all painted!  Now it's my turn.  Maybe this weekend........

Here's a look at the last painting project I completed.  I'm hoping the photos inspire me to get paintng!

$5.85....plus it was 25% off day at the thrift store!!!

My friend Patricia painted the little cherry covered key cabinet and the candy jar is from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.

I love thrift stores! We have a few things in common I see...our names, thrift stores and a love for squirrels.:) I live in Orlando, FL. Had to stop by and say "hi". I saw you on Ann and Duke's blog. Happy Friday!

It looks great. I'll have to keep my eye open for things to paint when I hit the thrift stores today :)

I need to start going to thift stores (if I can find any around this area) you and Katie always find awesome stuff for cheap. The black paint looks really good on it.

Your adorable little shelf looks beautiful! I spray painted three frames and a cameo thing-y yesterday with Jamie and the kids swarming about telling me they LOVE the smell of spray paint. I shooed them away while holding my breath and explaining about killing brain cells if they got too close. There is a small window between high humidity, too hot, too cold and too tired. I had to act :)

Isn't it amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do? I love the little shelf and the way you displayed things around it. That's my kind of price too, Ha!
