Caleb's Birthday Fun

Somehow I managed to miss posting photos from Caleb's 1st birthday party (which was almost a month ago)..so I think I'll remedy that today.  What's a party without balloons!

Grandpa and Gramma got Caleb a shopping cart full of goodies...including a cute, green alligator.  All my grandbabies have a special animal.  Alligators belong to Caleb.

Aunt Jo planned a fun craft.....what little girl doesn't love beads.  Charlotte and Penelope filled little bottles with the beads and then decorated the bottles to look like fish.  I don't have a photo of a finished one but you can see Jo's inspiration here.

Caleb got to join in the fun too!  Step 1) Put white paper in covered box;  Step 2) coat marbles with paint:  Step 3) Put marbles in box;  Step 4) tip box back & forth and side to side.

I loved the crafts Jo prepared and so did the kiddos!

Pool time was fun and these "spongy things" were a huge hit!  Jo made them and the kiddos loved them!!

Caleb liked his shopping cart and he also REALLY liked the blanket that I made him.  I had enough fabric left over to make two small matching blankies.  Every one year old needs a couple travel blankies!

How about a school of fish swimming in a number one!  Jo made these too...one "scale" at a time.  I think these are so cute and they were tasty too!

Right Elijah!?

The party was Bubble Guppie themed...Great party Jo!
I love you sweet Caleb!

Your family has the most fun times!!! Everyone contributed to make Caleb's birthday a success...the crafts, the gifts, the food and the fun are all wonderful! You are a "Pinning" and "Making" wonder-woman! I pinned the sponge bombs, too. They are so cute!
