The Kitchen Window

About four months ago I posted about a new window treatment on my kitchen window...you can see it here.  I loved the look of the towel and napkins...but Bill really didn't.  Something about not being able to see out the window...silly guy!  Yesterday I replaced them with a new valance from Country Curtains.
I love this look too!  In fact I think I like it better than the towel and napkins...but don't tell Bill!

In addition to a new window treament, the kitchen window also got a  couple new accessories.  My friend Patricia made this adorable tower of pots for me, and she painted them in my very favorite color combination...yellow, blue, red and green!

She also felted this wonderful little bluebird...it's absolutely the sweetest little thing!!

Another friend....Tisha....gifted me with this pretty shell full of succulents.  She told me the name of the plant.  But, of course, I don't remember.  What I will remember is two dear friends everytime I'm near this window!

I chuckle every time you show something from a place I love...Country Curtains..I've been buying there for years. Great quality! I love this valance and the gifts from your friends (although I don't know the name of that succulent)
From your kindred sister,
xoxo

The new valance looks really good and it does open up your window. No problem looking outside! But the towel and napkins were so darn cute!
You're blessed to have those creative and thoughtful friends!
