Shopping!

I received one of these for Christmas from my boss ~ thanks Boss! A very generous gift card to Nordstrom. I'm not a Nordstrom shopper ~ I've been inside Nordstrom a few times - but I've never bought anything. I'm more of a Target, Kohls and thrift stores kind of person. But Mandy and I are going to Nordstrom tomorrow ~ she has a gift card too!

I could do what I usually end up doing ~ spending my gift cards on babies. This little strawberry swimsuit is so sweet ~ but the price is pretty sweet too! This budget minded gramma just couldn't do it.

I'm not a jewelry person ~ but I do enjoy an occasional quirky necklace. This one is fun, but again there's that price tag to reckon with.

I could use a new tote bag and this one is nice and colorful. It also has a vinyl coating so it would be pretty sturdy too! But again ~ I couldn't do it ~ the price is so out of the norm for me. I could buy 12 tote bags at Target for the cost of this one.



I was excited to discover Nordstrom carries a large assortment of bath & body products. I bet I can find some things to spend my gift card on in this department. Their prices are a little more familiar to me. Well some of them are anyway.




I know a lot of people shop at Nordstrom ~ some of my friends have found some really good bargains there. I guess that's what I'm hoping for ~ some really good bargains. I'm excited about our shopping trip ~ it will be fun to see what kind of treasures we can find! Maybe there will be a lot of clearance items in the baby department!!
