I do not have a green thumb! We have hostas, ivy, spirea and some other little green hedges (their names are unknown to me). Plants that are generally green already. They seem to do okay ~ it's the plants that (supposedly) get flowers that I have a problem with. It's because I don't water them enough ~ I forget about them. Most of my attempts have been focused on the backyard and I don't usually get out there except on the weekends. Seven days between drinks does not a happy plant make!
So I've tried two new ideas this year. I decided to plant a little garden near the front step ~ I pass it twice a day and the hose & faucet are right behind it. AND I "hired" a gardener. See him there near the pink petunias?

Marie,
I don't know about your gardener.
He looks awfully old.
Wouldn't want him to keep over from too much work!! =0)
thanks for visiting my new blog shop and for your encouraging words.

Oh just my kind of man...no talking,no complaining and if he makes you mad you can knock him over!
lol! I think he will do nicely! Beth
Loved Raggedy Angel's assessment of your gardener! LOL! Your little garden patch is cheerful and colorful Marie. Where did you find the adorable pickety fence-it's the perfect accent!
Good luck!
Joyce
Hi Marie, your garden is very sweet and I just love your little garden gnomes. Go to my friend Jackies blog and see the gnome and fairy land she and her hubby are building in their yard. I think you will love seeing it.

Marie,
Your garden looks great. Think your gardener has a brother? ;)
