Marie, you'd be surprised how many times I think about my go go boots! I remember being in the 6th grade and the teacher asked us to go around the room and tell what we wanted for Christmas. Every girl said they wanted a pair of go go boots! I wanted a pair more than Anything that year and was lucky enough to get a pair. I wish I had a picture of me in those boots. As I remember I don't think they fit me very long, but I sure have fond memories of those boots! Twyla
Memories. 1970 and I wore boots just like this, and at the time my favourite dress was a bright orange mini, which showed a lot of cleavage, and so much leg (and more) that it came with matching panties. Those were the days, now at 64 and the grandmother of 7 I can only sigh, and try to remember that giddy young woman really was me. lol Lesley
When I see Go-Go boots I first think of Twiggy and then That Girl and then, The Mod Squad and then Marsha Brady! I never had a pair either...tee hee, but I wished for them but I was too embarrassed to wear them. You had to have a bit of a wild girl in you to prance around in them and I had too many curls...at that time, that seemed like a curse to me! Rolling back time, you are so fun!
Hi Marie, I saw that you got a new camera for Christmas. How fun! I'm sure you're loving it. No, I never had a pair of go go boots, but they always make me think of all the old shows from the late 60s, early 70s. Fun times! : ) M.L.
LOl...yea, I had some...but mine went to me knees and were white patent leather. I wore them with a plaid black and white pleated skirt and a white patent leather watch. For a fifth grader, I was experimenting with my inner fashionista! ha.

My calves were alwyas too big to wear them :( but I can remember my MOTHER had them...she had great legs and was always a stylish dresser!

Oh yeah...
Didn't want 'em...but everyone else had 'em!!
They were perfect with a Piet Modrian inspired shift dress.
