The ceiling is newly painted and it looks wonderful! Gone are the yellow and orange "silly string" stains in one of the corners. Sorry, I forgot to photograph them. They were there courtesy of Joe! I'm sure he's happy the "Kilz" worked!
The walls have a coat of primer on them (the multitude of spackle spots are gone!) and soon they'll be freshly painted with Behr's Cottage White. Katie has some leftover paint that I'll be using for shelves that fit on either side of the window. It's the color of masking tape. It'll be a nice contrast against the walls. I can't believe this is all coming together so quickly. Thank you, thank you, thank you to my husband Bill for doing all the patching and sanding and painting!

Hey Marie. I don't blame you for being excited. It already looks so fresh and bright. I can't wait to see more.
ooxx's....Tracy :)
I know exactly how excited you are. it's the same way I felt when I was doing my daughters room to turn it into my craft room. It's looking good, and that masking tape colored paint sounds nice.
Marie, this is all for you?! Can't wait to see it all put together!
Blessings,
Diane
I don't remember any silly string incidents in there? I do remember the one time Bob came over and went to jump on my bed and overshot it and put a hole in the wall.
Good Morning, Marie,
This is looking so fresh...you are lucky to have a hubby that is handy in the fix-it-up department. Can't wait to see more pictures as your project continues.
Have a thoughtful Thursday. ~Natalie
That is a LOT of hard work! But you'll be glad you went through it! There's nothing like a freshly painted room!
Oh, I'm SO happy for you!!! It's going to be glorious, I can tell.
I loved the pics of Elijah and Charlotte at 'Annie's Playground'. And also the adorable ones of Penelope at the beach in Florida. You're right...that hat was TOOOO cute!! : )
I hope you're enjoying the Summer,
Mary Lou
