Random Monday Memories ~ Go Bowling

I remember making things out of paper mache when I was in grade school.  In my Social Studies we made Pinatas using balloons each year.  In  Art class we made paper mache bowls.  What a mess ~ but what fun!

This new magazine reminded me of my paper mache projects ~ plus alot of other great projects.  These "special interest publications" are some of my favorite magazines.

I love this article called "Go Bowling"!  A paper mache bowl made by using a gelatin mold. The look is great and it sounds pretty easy.  It's going on my "I Want To Try This" list.  Boy ~ that list is getting very long!

What new projects do you want to try?
I hope you have time to get to them this week!
Have a great Monday!

Hi Marie,
Summer is a time to be lazy and drink lemonade right? I'm trying and trying to get around to my blog friends but time is spent reading, biking and outdoors. I send you a bouquet of daisy flowers today in our imagination station...as a humble so sorry for not getting here in a couple of weeks.
I love diving into magazines too...ideas flow!
Happy Monday my friend! Clip a clothespin to your apron and remember me!

That reminded me of the hideous paper mache bear I made in art class when I was in school...lol
As for my list of projects I want to try, I've been saving ones I find online in my stumble favorites and I think I have 15 pages now..lol

Dear Marie, you and all of those crafty ladies out there really amaze me. You are always creating such cool stuff. I, on the other hand can barely keep up with the laundry and crud on the floors! I will just have to live vicariously through you guys!

Hi Marie, I've never done anything with paper mache yet but just recently thought about it. Maybe I'll give it a try in fall for a Christmas project. Those bowl are lovely. They would not only be wonderful to store something but filled with some goodies also make a great gift. Have fun splashing!
Hugs to you,
Julia
