Have a Heart...

...or several hearts!
I have met some very sweet women through this blog. Two of them remembered me with Valentines this year.  Their gifts of hearts have found special spots on my kitchen bulletin board...perfect reminders of friends far away!

The paper hearts garland arrived from Pennsylvania.  Joyce of Scrap For Joy is a paper craft whiz...she shares all kinds of fun paper creations on her blog!  She makes beautiful cards and garlands, among other things.  I love this one and I think it looks perfect hanging with all my sweet grandbabies!  I also have one of her garlands hanging in my laundry room. Love it too!

Sweet Shelley from Texas crocheted a red heart for me.  Shelley's blog is called Simply Shelley.  It's a lovely place to visit...filled with hope and encouragement...and dolls!!
Shelley loves dolls and I love visiting her, and reading about those dolls, her sweet family, and most of all, her love for the Lord.

Who knew that my simple attempt at keeping on online journal would reward me with such dear friends!!  Their sweet gifts to me will be hanging around for a long time!

Those are sweet gifts and combined with your pictures you've created a work on art

I think it's a testimony of how sweet we think you are! There is a little pink polka dot heart winging it's way to you...just slip it on the end of that string and you'll have a balanced banner.
I love the crocheted heart and the clever twine garland. Your bulletin board looks very sweet...especially with all of those sweet faces on it. Did you paint it yourself? If so, what color red did you use, it's great.

Aw, that's a beautiful display of loving messages. Of all the special days in the year, the one that I miss most from my teaching days, is Valentines Day!
