On a recent day trip to Pennsylvania I got to visit a new Antique shop.
Thanks Tisha...for waiting to go with Patricia and I...it was the first visit for all three of us.
Such fun to discover new places together!! We could hardly wait to check it out!
Look, there it is across the highway!
And here it is...up high and up close!
Love it when the OPEN flag is flying!!
Love the doors on this place too!
There were green (not for sale) bottles displayed though out the shop.
I meant to ask about the significance of them, but I forgot.
Next time....and yes, there will be a next time!
There was lots to see! I really like the shape of this large jar.
But,no need for a jar full of baseballs at my house.
I thought this was a cute idea...old doorknob and some coiled wire equals a fun
way to display three photos. Or some flashcards.
Like A - B - C or 1 - 2 - 3!
Half of this "wall" and the six feet of floor space in front of it was available for rent. I would really like to have a space in this kind of shop. But it's over an hour away in good traffic.
Sure wish I could find something like this closer to home!!
Cute idea for a photo display....cut-out on mounted to a piece of wood.
I could have little stand up photos of my grandkids all over the place!
Old doors are used to define rental spaces. It creates an interesting look...plus
you can hang a basket on the doorknob!
Everyone needs a Giraffe truck. The color is awesome...I was tempted,
but it was a bit out of my price range.
They had a fairly large collection of old toys scattered through out the two
floors of retail space. Lots of trucks!!
Some were displayed out of my reach!
Old wood and a window create another great display area.
Lots to look at...way up there!
Love this "wall" of wood...I'd love a section of this running down my hall-way.
Pulley anyone?
Great idea for an old cigar box...attach part of an old belt as a handle.
This is going on my to-do list for sure!
I made a few purchases here. One was the little aluminum pot with the black handle.
The round base sits on top of a coffee mug. It's similar to a Vietnamese coffee press,
but it says made in Italy on the bottom.
Another great old door. I'd love to get one and mount to the fence in my yard.
Perfect spot for seasonal wreaths...don't you think!?
This guy reminds me of Bozo the Clown...except he needs longer hair.
Who remembers Bozo?
Isn't this a fun name for this booth!
Junk & Disorderly!
Love it!!
This afghan came home with me. The border is a deep navy blue...very unusual.
It looks fabulous on my family room couch!
Another look at the creative displays in this shop.
On the other side of this blue "wall" is where the rental spot is located.
God Bless Our Home...the stitching on this piece was just amazing.
Wish I'd gotten a close up of it.
If you're ever in the Columbia, PA area make sure to stop by at Bootleg Antiques.
It's a great shop!
I mean where else can you find a

Oh my Marie! My husband and I would spend hours in there! We go to PA every summer and that place would be worth a road trip! When I go looking for antique shops and antique malls, my heart goes pitter patter when I see that "open" flag blowing in the breeze! BTW, I pinned that jar full of baseballs. When my husband finally has a man cave, I think that would be a great gift to give him. Have you ever been to Historica Plus in Clearfield, PA? There are 4 floors of fun to explore! I spend at least an hour going through the huge selection of postcards when you walk through the door. We go every year and then to Denny's Beer Barrel Pub for dinner.
what an awesome place. I wonder how far away that is from me
Wow, so much to see and such great treasures!
