Actually you get smudges on a lot of cute photos!

Snapshot - A Day Off

It's not often that I get a day off from work with no appointments scheduled, no errands to run, no "have to get this done today" kind of list.  Yesterday was that kind of day.  (insert big smile here!)

I cleaned a little, hemmed curtains, enjoyed a quick visit from Jacqi & Penelope, watched some daytime TV (HGTV & news) while enjoying tea, strawberries & cheese, and just simply enjoyed the day.

I also spent some time just walking around the yard with my camera (trying to ignore all the work that needs to be done). The weather was perfect...sunny and a little breezy.  Just right for crawling around taking photos of little acorns on the ground.  It's like they posed themselves...just waiting for me to have a bit of time to come and discover them...click, click!

While "crawling" around I looked up and saw this....Click!
"A picture is worth a thousand words".
Indeed.......

Got Photos?

While I'm waiting for a solution to my "busted" camera problem I thought I'd borrow some photos from other family members.  Even before my camera was "busted" their cameras were better...so of course these are great photos!

Here's a photo taken by my daughter Katie (Charlotte's Momma).
Penelope and Charlotte taking a little break on a turtle.

My daughter-in-law Jacqi (Penelope's Mommy) took this photo.
Elijah is loving all the bubbles!!

Thanks Katie and Jacqi for loaning me some very cute photos
of my very cute grandbabies!!

I'm So Sad!

Yesterday we celebrated Charlotte's 2nd birthday ~ and I was all ready to take a bazilliion pictures. How could I not? All three grandbabies were there!!

But before the festivities even began ~
I. Dropped. My. Camera!!!
I'm sick about it.
Mine now has a cracked screen and it doesn't have a viewfinder. So I'm shooting blind.
We're going to see if it can be repaired.
I sure hope so.....a replacement is really not in the budget right now.
