...and decrepit too! You know that post I set up yesterday? About being older than dirt...well since than I've decided that I'm also decrepit.
I woke up early this morning with some lower back pains and a couple other symptoms suggesting I might have a UTI. Things got pretty uncomfortable so I went to get a urinalysis done and sure enough that's what I have ~ and to quote the doctor "a pretty vicious one" to boot!
All I can say is, "I hurt!" and "What next?"
Thought you might like to see what Webster has to say about.....

Well, I got a bit of a chuckle out of this ~ now I'm off to the fetal position until the antibiotics take affect! ***Hopefully they prescribed the right ones. They'll know in a couple days if they need to change my meds to something else.

So sorry to hear about the UTI. Last spring, I had in my Doc's words...a whopper of a kidney infection. She was giving me injections and pills and had me in her office every day for a week. She also had me eating pickled beets. She says they are the very best thing to help you get rid of kidney or any kind of UT infection...and eating a few every day along with plenty of water will help ward them off. So, I eat them every day and so far, no more problems.
Hope you're feeling better soon!
Blessings, Sue
Oh my-UTI's are no fun. I hope by now you're feeling much better. I read Susie's comment about the beets, that's a new one for me but if it works-hey, I'd try it.
