I needed to go to work today to recover from my weekend! Two days with a two year old (who decided not to nap both days) plumb wore me out. Add in no cable or internet since Saturday morning and a VERY bored Father-in-law....well, let's just say my brain is drained.
Plus why is it that I couldn't fall asleep last night? The US Open fans got in just after midnight and I went right to bed when Katie and Mark left with Charlotte...but I tossed and turned until almost 3:00AM!! Hopefully my co-workers and my boss won't notice if I sneak in a couple of cat naps through out the day!!

Funny, I had a really restless sleep last evening too. Happens every so often, usually too many things on my mind, and sometimes I just can't shut down. Suppose eating a very huge dinner at 8:30pm didn't help matters. When we get older, we can't eat that late without suffering for it! ;)
Such a cute Kitty photo!
Hope you have a pleasant week.

Oh no! No internet or cable??? Yikes! We do forget how much energy it takes to chase after a toddler. I know we're always worn out after a Charlie visit. Hope you can turn in early tonight Marie. Being in the ocean air improves my sleep 100%...maybe we should stay here. The weather is perfect!

Egaads, I'd be at a loss with no internet and no cable . . . LOL

I could live without the cable but the internet being down is just not right. I just hate it when your dead tired and the minute your head hits the pillow you're wide awake. Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight
Hi Marie,What would we do with out the internet.. probably a lot more..lol!I know I would. Love your kitty photo, I'm more a cat person myself. Thank you so much for popping over to my blog and for your sweet comment! take care, Maryann
Hey marie! Sounds like you DO need a rest! :) Sometimes I enjoy little breaks from my comp so I hope you survived :) I know it can be rough :) Especially for us bloggers!!! I think the father-in -law part put it over the top...that could do me in!!!
Dear Marie, I hope your sleep tonight is totally refreshing and restful! It took John and I days to recover from our kids visit from NY.
