Birthday Mail

I had a birthday about a month ago and my friend Joyce of SCRAP FOR JOY sent me a box of goodies.  Everything was wrapped in the most wonderful red and white check paper. Here's a peek at some of the treasures she tucked inside the packaging:
Images to use in my art work (some very cute sayings are included), a beautiful tray,a new mini paper shredder, the dress form decorated booklet is to hold all those "special shopper" cards all the stores are using and there's also a little album for "The Loves of My Life".  Joyce knows exactly who I'll fill that up with!   She also sent me an envelope full of charms and some birthday stickers.

The images were so fun...I can't wait to use them in my paper art.  Love the "Can Believe It's Not Butter"!  LOL!  The squirrel images are one of my favorite parts of her gift to me.  We've come to discover that we love many of the same things....squirrels included!  I have to think of a special way to use these three tags...they are adorable!

We also share a love of birds....and I love this little tray.  Since taking this photo it's been placed in a special spot in my kitchen.

Joyce always puts such care into her packaging.  Each red and white checked package was placed in a shiny cellophane bag and there was black and white checked ribbon and stickers involved.  Just looking at all the packaging was a gift in itself!

I love that Joyce put a "PALS" sticker on one of the packages...but my very favorite was the one called "CAKE BLINDNESS"!  Thanks a bunch for the special birthday package Joyce!
It truly meant so much to me!

You are the sweetest and it's always fun to chose treats for you. Those little images from Lisa's Altered Art just cracked me up...I've used them on cards for my firends. It's fun to decide which funny quote goes with each person. I think the squirrel tag was a free download...if I can find it I'll send it to you so you can print out your own :)

This red and check pattern reminds me of a picnic table perfect for this time of year. You're a lucky gal to have such generous friends.

Wow, what lovely things! That bird tray is so pretty, I'm sure you've found a great place for it (out of the reach of little hands).

Fabulous gift. She really knows how to put a package together. The wrapping is almost as good as the wonderful gifts that it holds. I'm betting you are going to be making something fabulous with some of that stuff. That bird tray is awesome
