Back in January I mentioned that Penelope and I would be going on a special shopping trip...but I never shared what she got. As a special reward from Gramma and Grandpa, I took her shopping for a gift. When I asked her what she would be shopping for she replied, "Pink".

Miss Penelope loves "pink"! She was so funny as we walked around Target. She'd spot pink in the distance and point it out like the treasure it was! "There Gramma, pink!" Over and over again!
We struck gold pink in the Dollar section because it was just before Valentine's Day. There's a whole lot of pink then. Pink lips (that's what we call lip balm), a pink pillow, a purply pink necklace and a very cute pink owl bag. We also found a pink cup in the housewares department.

But my favorite pink purchase was this book called "My Pretty Pink Alphabet Purse". It's full of PINK!

It was a lovely shopping trip.....don't you think? Oh that rhymes with pink!!
Here we have Princess Penelope all dressed in pink...it wasn't too hard to pick out a Disney gift for this little gal!

Oh, this has to be the sweetest Post EVER!!! What a special day out with Gramma. I'm sure she felt very loved and special. It shows in that precious last photo.

How fun shopping for a color. I like the way Penelope thinks :) That purse book is so cute and she looks downright precious in her princess costume
