Books and their Pages

My only thrift store purchases this past weekend were books.  Five Reader's Digest condensed books for decorating, and these five books for making things with.  The largest one is an old dictionary and the red book is full of math tables.  I have immediate plans for both.

I've found so much "book page" inspiration on some my favorite blogs and on Pinterest.  Here's just a sampling of all the great ideas I've gathered from all the creative people out there.
I feel a creative weekend coming up!

Do you have any ideas for my book pages?  If you do, I'd love to hear about them!!

As an avid reader, I love what you're doing with these book pages! If I were in your family, I would want a special little box decoupaged with book pages of poetry and all of your special little touches that you put on things. The things you have made look wonderful!

Don't ask me why I can pull apart crabs with no problem, but it pains me to think about books being ripped apart. They do make very lovely things though. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

What a find! I love old books and all the things you can create from them. I'm especially loving and inspired by the covered can. I may have to try my hand at that. Enjoy your crafting!

You have inspired me, Marie! As for me, I have only made the paper book garland that I posted about some time back. I will have to check out some of your links.

Have a wonderful, wonderful weekend!
