Road Trip

Bill and I took a road trip over Labor Day weekend. I've been having some back problems for about eight months and sitting is one of my least favorite things to do.  This trip involved about ten hours in the car...each way.  So to amuse myself, and to try and take my mind off my aches and pains, I took pictures along the way.  Here's a look at some of the sights I saw.....while traveling from Maryland to Michigan and back again.  I think my "point & shoot" camera was pretty good at catching the action while we cruised along at about 70 mph!

Breezewood, PA - This one's for you Joe!

Heading into the Allegheny Mountain Tunnel.

Anyone need to hire a moving company?

I saw four billboards with Scripture on them.

The letter M or W or V or maybe just a bridge....

Sorry Bill...we are not stopping in Cleveland.

My feet.

Not sure what this is. I liked the flag way up on top.

A boat and the remains of a barn.

A look at Detroit from the highway.

The name amused me.

The corn fields were so green!

There were a lot of flags flying all through Michigan.

More of Detroit - how do they get that graffiti up so high?

Marathon Petroleum Corporation Refinery in Detroit.

Making their voices heard.

On the road again........

Long car rides can be killer. You did good at entertaining yourself. Great scenery. I'm curious about how they manage to paint the graffiti up so high too

What fun! I like to do the same thing on road trips. The problem is where we drive around in Texas, so much of it looks the same. I feel like I've been on a little trip with you. Thanks for the change of scenery!

Sorry that you have been having problems with your back! That really stinks!

The diversity of the photos is so interesting and you got great shots with your camera as you zoomed by.

I do really like the Takee Outee :)

Great photos - I love your thoughts behind each.

The green fields and blue sky with impossibly puffy clouds is my favorite, I think.

Or maybe Takee Outee ...

hahahaha
