October Swap

I haven't done a swap in quite a while. But when I found out that Linda was

going to be hosting A Swap for All Seasons again, I knew it was time to swap again!!

Beginning last month, Linda will be hosting a swap each month for a year. 

The same kind of swap...with a different theme every month. 

She explains it all right here.

I recently mailed off my swap goodies for October.

One handmade card, one handmade tag, and a bit of destash (to remove an item from

your craft supplies and share it with someone else). 

 Our theme was Friendship and our destash item needed to be pink. 

Here's a look at what I sent to Becky.

 

I like simple...I hope Becky does too!  I used one of my very favorite friendship quotes,
some pretty paper, a sweet image, and a tiny bouquet.

Here's the tag I sent to her....again pretty simple.

The destash bag was full of some vintage
pink trim and pretty pink flowers.

 

Linda has set this swap up so that we send to one gal and receive from another. 

It's fun this way....we get to meet two new women each month!

Love this large tag...it's about 4 inches wide!  I sure hope
I "measure up" in the friendship dept!!

Isn't this a pretty card?  The layers and textures are wonderful. I won't be using
it as a card though...it's already hanging up on my Inspiration Board!

Here's the fun destash Jan sent to me. The little ballerina is my favorite piece!

I'm already signed up for the November Swap....with two new swap partners.

Our theme is Birthdays and we need to share some brown destash. 

I think brown might be a little challenging for me!

 

Linda is a great swap hostess....she's been hosting A Swap for All Seasons since 2008.  I think I've participating in all but two of them....and I enjoyed every one I was in.
