Fletcher

Between weather and sickness I haven't seen as much of this little guy as I would like to.
Fortunately Jacqi likes to take photos of him and then post them on Facebook.  Here are a couple recent ones.  Hard to believe he's 7 weeks old already!!

 Origin of the name Fletcher:
Transferred use of the surname derived from the Old French flechier (arrow maker), which is from the
root flech (an arrow). The name originated in the beginning of the 13th century as an occupational name for a
maker or seller of arrows.

I think there might be one of these in his future.

Famous Fletcher:
Fletcher Christian was master's mate on board HMS Bounty during William Bligh's voyage to Tahiti for breadfruit plants. In the mutiny on the Bounty, Christian seized command of the ship from William Bligh on 28 April 1789.

What a sweet boy! I like his name. Fletcher, reminds me of the Bible verse about having a quiver full of arrows. Each one can go out and be a light for the Lord.

Oh my, what a sweet little guy! My babies (granddaughters) are getting so big now they don't want to hang out with grandma as much. Miss having babies to cuddle.
