Isn't this a sweet face!

Love this precious little guy!

He wasn't feeling very good today (Wednesday)...in fact he had to take a trip to the ER.  That's where he is in this photo.  There was a bit of a coughing/choking/gagging scare...but after a few hours in the hospital (plus a shot of steroids) he returned home with a diagnosis of croup.

According to his Mommy & Daddy he seems to be better tonight. He even ate a bit at dinner!

I'm so thankful that it wasn't anything worse!

Lulu's Sweet Mouth

Look at this sweet face and that cute little mouth.

That cute little mouth gets quite a work out.  

Lulu loves to eat...pretty much anything!  

I hope that lasts. 

I hope her taste buds don't get fussy as she gets older.  

Look how intent she is on these grapes that she's 

eating...how much she's enjoying them...how focused she is!!

Then it was time for the "good to the last drop" applesauce!  This is one of her VERY favorite things to eat!  But it's not just fruit.  This girl eats pretty anything you put in front of her.  She's not a fan of breads...but give her some veggies, meat, cheese, eggs, pasta....she'll gobble it all up!  

"Don't forget "Goldfish" Gramma...you know I LOVE goldfish!!"

This sweet little girl hasn't been feeling well for several days. She has a virus that causes some blisters in her mouth.  It's definitely taken some of her appetite away.  

But, it's allowed for some extra cuddle time for Lulu and her Momma!

Strawberry Shortcake

This is where I spent most of Monday evening. 

In fact I crawled out from the under the quilt just to take this photo...and then

crawled right back under it.  This head cold I have is wicked!!

tea.  Bill made chicken soup for me too!!

There's something to be said for sharing.

Unless you're talking about germs.

I'm not sure if I have Bill, grandchildren, or just the general public to

thank for these germs...but somebody shared them with me.

I started with head cold symptoms Saturday evening...why is it you feel worse at night? 

You don't sleep well because your ears hurt, your nose is runny and congested all at the

same time, your head aches, and your throat is scratchy.

You feel a little better during the day. Except you're exhausted because you didn't

sleep well the night before.  Now it's nighttime again and you're back to feeling miserable. 

Really Miserable!!!!

But at least you get to drink tea out of this cute mug.

You being me of course!!

Now, don't let the time of this post fool you.  I went to bed way before

it posted. LOVE being able to schedule a post!!

Sniff.....

We had a really nice Thanksgiving Day....all our children and grandchildren....lots of delicious food....and an extraordinary amount of blessings in our lives!

 

We made an entire day of it.  I crafted with the three oldest grandkids and loved on the two littlest. Poor Caleb and Lulu.  They both had nasty colds...so they needed a lot of loving!  The guys enjoyed some football, we played some games, and ate and ate and ate!  Bill and I enjoyed it all so much.

Bill started not feeling very well towards the end of the day.  He managed to 'catch' a bit of a cold too.  Although by Friday morning it wasn't a bit of a cold anymore. Sore throat, runny nose, earache, headache, bodyaches....just generally achy and blah!

  

I woke up Saturday with a little sore throat.  It was craft show day....I got home about 3:30 PM. Long about 5:30 PM I decided to take a nap, and three hours later I woke up with some of the same symptoms Bill had.  Now we both FEEL MISERABLE!
