I'm not sure how Bill arrived at Peony, but he called Penelope that many times (before her birth) ~ I doubt it will stick, but it was sweet at the time!
Our ten pounder doesn't look quite so big here! She's modeling her pink smocked dress that Grampa bought ~ it was her coming home outfit.

I love "Princess Peony"-it's a darling nickname. Of course, Penelope is a sweet name, too. And then there's "Chuck"-that one cracks me up still! I was at the Mall yesterday and stopped to look in the windows of Janie & Jack.
