Mandy's Birthday

Today is Mandy's birthday.
My baby is 32 years old...which isn't very old.
But when I consider she's my youngest...I feel really old!

These are some photos we took last April...before Kevin and his family moved to Texas.  We decided we wanted a picture of Aunt Mandy with all the "Littles" sitting on the ground.  Of course we decided this after an hour plus of other picture taking.  Some of the "Littles" were about done!  Some of them (along with Aunt Mandy) were just plain goofy!

We managed to get one fairly calm photo though.

We also got this one earlier in the photo shoot.  It's one of my favorites!
Thanks to Jacqi for taking these!!

This next photo I took.  It was a party just waiting to happen.
Happy Birthday Mandy!
We love you a bunch...and hope you have a great day!!

Tonight she'll be celebrating her birthday by going to a concert at
Four different acts...the main attraction being
NeedToBreathe...her favorite band!
She's going with friends...and she's taking Charlotte with her!
Praying for good times for all...and good weather too!

All the Littles

My daughter-in-law took the photos of Penelope's recent birthday celebration....I already shared several of them HERE.  Here are some photos she took of all the littles.

Elijah is very serious about this mustache!

Penelope and Charlotte are not being serious at all.

Caleb wasn't happy about something...very unusual for him.

Sweet Lulu.

Love those pearly whites Fletcher!

Two of these cuties are going to be moving to another state soon.
I'm one sad Gramma.
(and that's no April Fools' joke!)

Thanks for the photos Jacqi!

The littlest "Littles"

Caleb ~ Lulu ~ Fletcher
Three...three years old and younger.
At least for a few more months.

They're so focused...intent on whatever it is they're doing.
Sometimes they hold still.
Sometimes they look at me.
Sometimes they smile.
Every now and then they do all three.

Hold still.
Look at Gramma.
Smile.

Thanks Fletcher!

Such sweeties!
Each one!!

The Littles Make My Home Sweet

I love these sweet little people so much.
Their visits make my home such a very, special place!

"Mr. Man" as his mommy calls him.
I call him cute, and Fletcher!

Caleb...with the beautiful hair.
He had such fun with the yellow balls at the recent birthday party.

Yes, that is Elijah inside that gas mask.
That's also him leaping out of the plane!

Not sure what Little Lulu is thinking, but she looks cute!!
(sometimes I forget her name is Louisa)

Charlotte at her 6 year check-up...waiting patiently.
Love the colors in this photo.

Penelope with me at Target.
She had to stop and sit on everyone of these balls!

Am I lucky or what!!

There is nothing like a grandchild to put a smile on your face, a lump in your throat, and a warm feeling deep in your heart!

Happy Birthday x 2!

Today this sweet girl is six!!
Happy Birthday to Charlotte!!

Last Saturday, she and her little sister Lulu had a birthday party at their house. Momma (Katie) loves to plan parties for her girls and this time was no exception!

Bet you can't guess the theme!  It's all about pink and flamingos!
Even Fletcher joined in the fun. I love his pink flamingo outfit!!

There were photos of each of the girls, from the past year.
Charlotte on the left and Lulu on the right.

The cake was yummy...white cake with raspberry filling, plus raspberries mixed into the frosting, and pink flamingo swizzle sticks on top.
There were Pink Peeps (aka "sitting flamingos") too!

There were flamingos everywhere!

Lulu loved her share of the balloons!

Hand print flamingos were the planned craft....not all crafts came out as planned.
But they all came out beautiful!

Everyone was encouraged to wear pink (or orange if you thought you were too manly for pink). I love that everyone joined in.  Katie and Mark have a yard made for playing in...and that's exactly what everyone did!  Dodge ball, a tunnel and castles, a pinata, and lots of balls.  The "littles" ate their dinner on the blankets that were spread out on the lawn.

At one point during the party, Charlotte went inside and returned dressed as "an old lady"...complete with cane. She said the boys were bugging her, and she knew
they wouldn't bug an old lady!  She's such a hoot!

There's that cake again...Yum!
(Yes, that's me with the camera. Thanks for this photo Katie...I think!)

After the cake, both of the girls opened their gifts! So many fun things!!
(flamingo glasses were one of the party favors...of course!)

Charlotte said that a Flamingo party was just what she wanted!!  She had the very best time!!
Tonight she is going out for dinner to celebrate her actual birthday. She got to choose where.  Her choice.....Arbys!
She's such a fun little girl!!  Actually (her favorite word right now) I guess she's really not so little...she's growing up way to fast!!  I love you sweet girl!!

Today is also my son Kevin's birthday.
(poor guy, doesn't even get his own blog post!)

For six years now, he has shared his birthday with Charlotte.
He's such a good uncle!!
He's also a pretty nice son!!
I hope you have a wonderful day Kevin!
Love you lots!!
