98.6

Tuesday evening, Katie got a reading of 98.6, when she checked Charlotte's temperature.

It may not stay that way....but thankfully there's some improvement going on!

They had a tough time tracking down Tamaflu...but to Charlotte's delight, momma & daddy found some for her.  Just kidding....Charlotte says Tamaflu is "real yucky"!  Thankfully, Katie has been very creative in camouflaging the taste of the yucky stuff...and Charlotte has been such a trouper about taking her medicine.  She's knows it's going to help her feel better.  She also knows that lots of people are praying for her to get better. 

Friday through Monday......four very long days! But late Tuesday brought improvement and encouragement.  Charlotte goes to see her pediatrician today. We're praying for a good report.

Thanks so much for all the prayers...I can't express how much it means to me to know that you're praying for my family.  Please continue praying....we have a special event coming up in two weeks and we sure want EVERYONE to be nice and healthy for it!

Today Is The Day!

I'm getting my new knee today ~ in fact when you read this I may already have it!

It's about 12:05 AM and I just finished my last very large glass of water!  Normally I'm still awake right now....but considering I need to get up in about four hours I probably should think about getting some sleep.  But I really wanted to pop in here real quick to say something really important.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your dear comments and emails and phone calls and especially your prayers. 
You have blessed me in a mighty way!

Ask anyone ~ I really enjoy having this blog! I love being able to look back over the past 500 plus posts ~ yikes, did I say 500! It's interesting to see what mattered enough to me to warrant my time to post it. There's no rhyme or reason to what I choose to post about, Life experiences, family ~ to include my sweet grandbabies, favorite quotes & scripture, swap goodies, an occasional recipe, trips...it's fun to go back and re-visit some of the things going on in my life.
