Pinned It and Did It!

It's time to get a little bit of fall going in my house. I've never decorated much for any holiday except Christmas but this year there will be little, subtle touches of fall here and there. On Sunday I spent some time re-arranging a bit in my living room.  I wanted to find a spot for my latest "inspired by Pinterest" creation.

Here it is...my dictionary page covered pumpkin! Easiest little bit of crafting I've done in a long time.  It used to be a gold pumpkin with a gold stem. Then with the help of my Modge Podge, old dictionary pages and some black paint, it turned into this.....

Simple and sweet!

Here's a peek at my inspiration pumpkin....or as they say in French my "pompian".  Thanks so much to Becky for sharing it on her blog ~ Junk To Joy!

Love it, love it! I must make one, too. Maybe a collection of all sorts of pumpkins made with different materials would be fun! We are down in Rehoboth Beach this week and just found out that they have a new HomeGoods store...I will be going there for inspiration...because it's cloudy and overcast here :(
Keep on pinning and doing!
xoxo
