I'm having great fun with pincushions right now. This is the smallest one I've worked on. It's very similar to the inspiration piece. I have several others in the works. Some are neutral colors and others a bit brighter. I love making these ~ I love eating walnuts ~ I don't love trying to get the walnuts out of the shells without cracking them. Already empty shells would be very nice!
This is post #998! Two more posts to go!
Happy November! Yikes!

That is SO sweet - I love it! I'm guessing we don't realize how many shells we destroy until we are trying to get perfect halves - argh!
nice post thanks for sharing..
The pincushion turned out so pretty, Marie! I think it would make a lovely tree ornament too.
I'm catching up on your last posts. Penelope is such a sweetie and looks so cute in her outfit.
Your father-in-law has very kind eyes and I always enjoy your posts about him. I'm sure he still loves talking to you despite your different believes.
Have a great week :-)!
Hugs,
Julia
That is so cute. It looks like a little bug!
So tiny. So sweet! Love the soft colors.
Marie, I'm trying so hard to understand Pinterest! I leared about it from you, got my invitation, and now...*sigh* I don't know how to work it, don't even know how to drag the "pin it" icon to my toolbar because....it's covered by the dropdown menu in Firefox where I need to reach it! LOL!
Not a good way to begin a Monday!
Hugs, Diane
