Twelve years ago we bought a picture to hang over one of my favorite pieces of furniture...THIS bookcase. I loved the picture when we bought it and I still love the beautiful frame. But I'm trying to brighten things up a bit and the picture just isn't working for me. I'd really like to create something new to hang there, but I'm just not sure what. Until I do, I think brightening up the things I put around it may help. It's kind of working for me...for now.

Love..love this Marie. The brown sack idea is great. I have that same cast iron bird..I have had it for years now...he has gone from inside to out over and over! Right now he is sitting on a shelf in my living room.
