Rednesday

I'm joining in with Rednesday this week.  It's all about sharing something red.  I'm sharing this very cute little red coat. It's corduroy and toasty warm.  If you peek real close you'll see it's lined in bright pink.  It's such an adorable coat and of course the little model wearing it is pretty adorable too!

You know I can't show one of my grandbabies without showing them all...and they each have a little bit of Rednesday going on too!

What a face! Love those red cheeks.  It doesn't look like she's very happy ~ I think it's because the ice cream is almost gone! She's such a little doll!

Then we have little Master Red himself!  He's busy opening some birthday gifts but took a moment to look at Gramma and her (ever present) camera!  Sweet boy!

REDnesday

I love tote bags and I have more than my fair share of them.  I really shouldn't buy anymore of them. I mean at some point I'm going to run out of things to tote.   But sometimes you (meaning me) just can't resist!
Take a look at this bow!  Red polka dots and tulle ~ with a button too!  Plus it's plaid and gray ~ I love gray plaid!  There's black and white stripes and red handles and trim too!  I love red!

A letter M ~ how perfect is that!  My name starts with an M!
M for Marie!

Oh, wait!  Maybe it's M for Minnie.  But that's okay.  It still has plaid and stripes and a whole lot of red!  I love red!

I love Minnie too!

But I really like RED!!

Today is Rednesday

Red is my favorite color. Today I thought that I would join in with some other bloggers who also love the color red.  The hostess of Rednesday is http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com/.   Visit her blog and you'll find links to lots of other bloggers showcasing some of their favorite red things.

I was finally able to get my act together and get my Christmas decorations taken down last weekend.  I also put together a few subtle Valentine type things on my kitchen windowsill.....and they just so happen to be red!  It's such a cheerful color to look at...especially in contrast to the greys and browns in my backyard.

UPDATE: The straws were purchased last fall at Crate & Barrel. I've also seen them available on Etsy.

A little red goes a long way in brightening up my day!
